County seeks public feedback at first minimum wage work group meetings

#Summit County #Colorado

A minimum wage work group will meet from 9-11 a.m. in the Hoosier Room and from 6-8 p.m. in the Fremont and Loveland Rooms on Thursday, Sept. 19, at the Summit County Community and Senior Center in Frisco.
The group was organized to review House Bill 19-1210, which provides local governments authority to set a minimum wage in their communities.
During the meeting, organizers will provide an overview of the legislation, answer questions, discuss concerns and share local workforce and wage data. Feedback from the public is encouraged.
Residents are asked to attend only one of the meetings because of space constrains.
