The Vail Resorts owned Colorado Mountain Express has
announced plans to join with the GO Group, a network of ground transportation
companies that operate independently under a single branding umbrella.
“Colorado Mountain Express (CME) will have a greater national presence through membership in the GO network,” CME vice president Robert Tschupp said. “We're looking forward to gaining more national exposures and continuing to grow our shared ride, charter and private car airport services.”
GO offers customers who participate in its preferred rider program incentives when they book rides through its roughly 50 affiliated shuttle services across the U.S. and Europe.
Joining up with GO is the latest in a series of recent changes for CME. The shuttle company has also added wireless Internet service on all of its vehicles and incorporated Mercedes Benz Sprinter vans into its fleet in the last year.
“Our commitment to service, safety and dependability is what really sets CME apart from other ground transportation options,” Tschupp said. “We continually invest in training our employees and enhancing our vehicles and riding experience.”
CME currently provides transportation from Denver International Airport, Eagle County Regional Airport and Aspen/Pitkin County Airport to resorts in Summit County, the Vail Valley and the Aspen/Snowmass area.
It is one of several shuttle and charter-service companies that run between the Front Range and Summit, some focusing on airport transportation and others on ski area access for skiers and snowboarders.
Rates for all of the shuttles vary based on dates of travel and number of passengers.
