10 a.m., Iowa Hill Trailhead, Airport Road. Enjoy an easy guided hike through the historic Iowa Hill mine site, which takes you past mining artifacts and interpretive signs. Breckenridge International Snow Sculpture Championships

All Day, Breckenridge Riverwalk Center, 150 W. Adams Ave. The 25th Annual ISSC takes over Breckenridge. Throughout the five days (65 hours) of sculpting, teams create enormousworks of art from 12-foot-tall, 20-ton blocks of machine-made Colorado snow.
