5 p.m., Dillon Dam Brewery, 100 Little Dam St. The Brewmaster’s special keg is tapped at 5 p.m. on the second Tuesday of every month. New flavors and styles every month. $5 half-pints while they last.
Take Flight
Keystone, Aug. 11
6 p.m., Warren Station Center for the Arts, 164 Ida Belle Drive. 8th Annual Summer Celebration. Enjoy three flights of wine, appetizers, and melodies. Each flight of the evening is a pairing of wine, an appetizer and a cabaret featuring the 2014 Summer Theatre Season Company. Celebrate with family and friends and support the Lake Dillon Theatre Company as they continue to provide over 225 days/nights of programming. Doors open at 6 p.m. for a cash bar and drawings. The night takes flight at 6:30 p.m.
Summit Biking
Dillon, Aug. 11
9:30 a.m., Dillon Amphitheater, 100 Lodge Pole. The ride will be either down the trail all the way through Keystone to the River Run area or on route 6, if you prefer. Return to the amphitheater after the ride for a picnic and the yearly meeting. Grill available, plan to bring what you would like to grill, and a dish to share and your drink. The picnic starts around 11:30 a.m.
Iowa Hill Gold Miners’ Hike
Breckenridge, Aug. 11
10 a.m., Iowa Hill Trailhead, Airport Road. Enjoy an easy guided hike through the historic Iowa Hill mine site, which takes you past mining artifacts and interpretive signs. Learn what life was like as a miner in the late 1800s and visit a restored miners’ boardinghouse. Weather permitting; Reservations required.
